Not a Tof-u shopping
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Ealing.
- Friday, 1st of September 2023
After marshaling at the Ealing Half in Lammas Park, I walked to Ealing Broadway to do some shopping.
After I entered the building, I was trying to find Mr.H's flat. An old lady who was having an online meeting saw me and said
Are you here for Mr.H? Go straight and turn left
Mr.H welcomed me and said that he couldn't walk due to an ulcer in his foot. The shopping list has been reduced in half as he managed to get a few items yesterday. The updated shopping list only contains 3 items. But it required shopping from two shops, Organic Planet, and Holland & Barrett. They were 5 minutes away from Mr.H's flat.
I went to Organic Planet and got the two items and I stumbled upon my landlady who was shopping there. 3 minutes later I was scanning the aisles of Holland & Barrett for the specific multivitamins which Mr.H requested. The lady at the till took some time to calculate the change as I was paying by cash.
After the quick shopping, I went back and Mr.H was grateful that I bought the exact items he asked for.
