Of Mice and Beds
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.
- Thursday, 13th of June 2019
Both goodgymmers had worked from home and saw the mission as a great way to leave the house and do good in the process. They met outside Mr. P's house, were buzzed in and got cracking - there was a lot of furniture to move!
After a lot of pondering they worked out how to dismantle the hospital bed - there are two knobs in the middle, twist them and you can pull the bed apart. If they they twist that is! A lot of hammering later they succeeded.
Next was moving three chairs and two tables from the living room to make way for the bed. They discovered the chair had been heavily eaten by mice. Once the floor was swept, they hauled the bed in with some help, remade the bed. All that was left to do was to put the mattress back, say goodbye and head home for some well earned dinner!

Wow! A lot of work and a job well done - now you know how to fold down a hospital bed, useful stuff.
Yes. The first 45 mins were spent figuring it out and trying EVERYTHING to get the knob to twist. I don’t know who put it together, but they certainly were strong!!!!
