Ms. L needed a collection of rubbish and recycling done from her flat to the bins outside. Easy enough! I went up to the third floor to reach the flat, where Ms. L - from behind her front door - suggested I use the elevator to bring the bags down. It turned out the small but charming art deco-era elevator had no intention of working with us, so I instead embraced the stairs as my exercise companions, and brought the five bags down in one trip, and the bottles for recycling in the second. The bins were in front of the premise, and with the bags not being very heavy, it was a really quick and simple job. Happy days!
