Onto heavier matt(r)ers(es)
2 GoodGymers made their way 2.0km to help an isolated older person in Southwark.
- Friday, 22nd of September 2023
Frances and Sam met outside Ms. S's house in Dulwich as her daughter let us in. Taking off their shoes, they made their way into the backroom of the house to move the single bed base upstairs to match with another single bed base to make a double bed. Yet, in order to do this, they had to remove a single bed mattress and the drawers before finding a way to lift the fairly light single bed base to the upstairs bedroom.
Waiting in the living room was a floppy double bed mattress. With a lot of pushing, shoving and a few breaks to catch their breath, Frances and Sam managed to get it upstairs and onto the two single bed bases.
They still had the matter of bring the single bed mattress and four bags of clothing up as Ms. S's daughter wanted this out of the way.
Great way to start the weekend!
