Operation Belgrave
2 GoodGymers made their way to help the Leicestershire Partnership Trust - NHS in Leicester.
- Wednesday, 8th of July 2020
- Led by Huw Davies
Today the volunteer project to encourage local residents to get a coronavirus test moved to the Belgrave area of the city.
Our meeting point was at Belgrave Health Centre with our mission being to direct residents to book a test and visit the Belgrave Neighbourhood Centre for a test.
It was great to hear that through the volunteer door knocking that NHS have managed to test 1,500 local residents over the past few days.
A great response from the residents we spoke to this morning and the security guy at the Neighbourhood Centre we passed on the walk back told us they'd been busy all morning.
Back again tomorrow at Belgrave Health Centre for more!
