Paint nothing like a litter bit of bulb planting to make you feel like you’ve done some good

In tonight’s news
Damian got a big parkrun PB!
Michael & Amro did a mission!
Paul, Rosemary & Tara ran the Mince Pie 10 miler! (it was great, you should definitely do it next year!)
We had a multitude of tasks tonight in the Hanover and Elm Grove area as Cllr David Gibson set us to work painting over graffiti, picking up litter and planting some bulbs, all to make the area nicer for local residents. And plenty of local residents expressed their gratitude for our hard work with passing comments of thanks and praise. Nice to know we are appreciated!
Amongst the general litter of plastic bottles and discarded wrappers David found a dead seagull and a partial number plate!!! I’m sure there is a pun in there somewhere, I will quite possibly give myself a sleepless night tonight trying to think of it!
Good done we headed to the Level for a fitness session of 2 rounds of 8 exercises, 30 seconds each with 15 seconds rest. And a very fit and keen young man decided to join in and show us how its done. Easy when you’re 18!
Next week is the last one before the Christmas break, no confirmed task yet but we will definitely be doing some good and getting fit! See you there!
