It was a night of painting and Hill training tonight! After a quick meet and greet and a welcome to new runner mark we headed out on the 1km run to the task, which was to apply primer to the Garages at Walton court, which we had prepared two weeks previous for New Vision Homes who provide sheltered acommodation in the area. We managed to complete three of the garage doors before we headed off for some fitness training and Hill sprints. We headed back into Woking Town center where we found out that Gosia was doing her 50th Run for Goodgym and would earn her Black Goodgym T-shirt! Gosia has also completed 20 mission Runs in and around London, so there were many questions from people interested in doing their own mission runs. Now we were all nicely warmed up, it was time to get our heart rates up; this was achieved by running up the 12 flights of stairs at the Multi story carpark! After the first set we went up again, this time stopping at each floor for some Squats ( just to warm the legs up even more)! Once finished we headed off for another 1.5km run towards Woking park to do some Hill training. Rob and holly once again helped as back markers making sure everyone stayed in a group as we ran through the streets. The Hill training tonight consisted of a quick warm up Hill run, followed by Fartlek training and fininshing with one last hill sprint! Everyone gave it 100% tonight especially Monica who just keeps going!! We headed back for a quick cool down and stretch, discussing next weeks task before all heading home!

It was lovely to run with you yesterday! Great team, nice variety of activities and obviously hill training surprise :). I'm really surprised seeing myself smiling in the photo from the hill - I was soooo exhausted!
