Piled high to the sky
2 GoodGymers made their way to help the Scope Charity Shop in Solihull.

Today was our first time at the Scope charity shop in Shirley. We met Emma, the shop manager, who was delighted to have some extra pairs of hands to help sort through the mountain of donations!
My first job was to empty the changing room which was stacked to the ceiling with bags of donations from the last two days! Jackie got straight to work on sorting through the pile of clothes - tagging and hanging up items, ready to be steam ironed before going onto the shop floor.
After 90 minutes of sorting, we made great progress and could almost see the bottom of the pile! We’d sorted enough hangers for the next stock rotation and Emma was really pleased to have some extra help on a busy day at the shop. She has already asked when we’ll be back as we’d done such a great job, so watch this space!
