Purrrrfect Work!
11 GoodGymers made their way 6.0km to help the Oasis Foundry School in Birmingham.

Tonight’s task was weeding and litter picking at Oasis Foundry School’s wildlife area. We set off with David doing the back marker job and Tom and Aidan the front.
On arrival the group got their gloves on, some went litter picking, while the others pulled ivy off the trees. There were no Al Paca’s this week, but we did have a little ginger and white cat who was watching us through a hole in the fence, see all the cute cat pictures ;-)
Tom, George, Sam, Rob and David were pulling all the ivy off the trees, having to often use extreme brute force! In two pictures you can see Rob and George really going for it as our furry friend looks on! Hence this weeks pun!
Once done and a great job the whole group had done, we loaded the bags into the task owner Megan’s car and we were happy to get Running again as the temperature had dropped very quickly, maybe these threats of snow might be true! Anyway as it was the first ‘light night run’ since October, we took full advantage of this running back along the canal.
Just before reaching 1000 Trades there was just enough time for one flat out looooong hill sprint! John, George and Tom raced each other at the front. Sam put in some great work and Morwenna and Laura pushed each other all the way up. Once that was complete it was just a short jog back to base.
Next week we will be out doing good again, it would be great if you could join us sign up here.
