Push comes to shove
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Hackney.
- Monday, 29th of July 2019
After being five minutes late (I met a sweaty goodgymmer on the way over and experienced a drive by hugging), Kapil and I went to the lovely Ms M's house. She wasn't there, but her lovely friend let us in, to what was an exquisite flat. I have stolen many an interior design ideas from there! We were looking to move a futon and a mattress out of her flat, but as it turns out we could only move the futon, given some questions about where we could dispose of it. Unfortunately the futon also had a nasty habit of popping open because there one side was broken. We managed to get it out the door, and there was definitely some friends Pivoting action involved. However, both Kapil and I managed, being proud possessors of engineering degrees! And once it was done, back off into the a warm evening we went!
