Ragworts up!
3 GoodGymers made their way 9.0km to help the Luton Borough Council Parks and Countryside in Luton.

A couple of late cancellations left us short on numbers for this run, but Ella and Miriam bravely stepped up to the task du jour.
We ran the 4.5km to Leagrave Park, breaking up the effort with short periods of walking and a stop for a stretch to ensure we arrived in good condition for the task.
We met Martin on site, a friend of Leagrave Common, who showed us the area we'd be working in and the distinctive yellow ragwort weeds that we'd be weeding out.
We took to heaving the poisonous weeds up by their roots, working quickly to clear the area and amassing a huge pile of the weeds to demonstrate our efforts.
Martin was thrilled with the amount we got done and praised the strong efforts. He was even inspired to join us on next week's group run!
Task done we headed back into town for a quick cooldown stretch to finish off the evening.
