Rake Me Up, Before You Go Go!
4 GoodGymers made their way 5.0km to help the Penrose Roots to Recovery in Luton.

Summer has made a last minute comeback so the four of us had a steamy run down to the Penrose Roots to Recovery garden.
Peter and William are busy preparing the huge garden for the planting of winter vegetables so we lightened their load by raking up a freshly mown patch of butterbur.
Butterbur is a native plant but it's quite rare in Luton and only grows in four spots in town, so the guys at the garden look after a patch of it to maintain biodiversity.
Patch thoroughly raked up and two giant bags of hay collected, we moved on to Wardown Park for a quick squat workout with a Moby soundtrack. Lizzy proved to be a pro squatter, and what a compliment that is!

Definitely felt this one the next day :-)
I'm still feeling those squats! I've found an exciting new workout track to try out with you guys too!
