8 runners met on a horrible snowy, wet cold and windy day, so well done! We ran 6km in total to the local area of heaton Mersey to clean up some flower bed, do a general clean up of the area, then hit the park (mainly to play to be honest!) We met at the usual time of 6.30, same location of Grand central Lifeleisure. After a little warm up and caht we set of gently on our run, tonights run had some rather large hills in, so we were all about a steady enjoyable pace and having a good time!
Once we got to Heaton mersy we did a light litter pick and made the flower beds clean and fresh in time for spring, we even picked out some christmas tree leftovers........
As it was super cold (wet, snowy and windy!) we needed to warm up, and so a little circuit was added for fun, along with some dodgy music...sorry!
Well done everyone who braved the elements tonight, you were super. Well done to Anne for making it to Liverpool this week to g help out with the Hedgehogs! yay. Also a massive HELLO to Sarah who recently moved to sunny stockport from her local goodgym Branett, it was great to get to know you, and welcoem to the city of stars x x x
Until next week guys, happy running,
Lisa
