Salvation Army Nunhead came calling for help this Wednesday as they had a Sainsbury's drop off (monthly) for their food bank. However, we had to make burgers for tomorrow's free lunch for 120 people. Since I was a bit of a perfectionist I shaped about 42 of them and the rest was done by the other volunteer.
Afterwards, I got stuck into taking all the donated food from the hall to their food bank room on the second floor.... Two flights of steps! 20 bags of kilos of dry goods.
