On a gloriously sunny evening, GoodGym Bristol ran to the beautiful Metford Road Allotments in Redland.
We met at the Folk House and ran up to what felt like the highest point in Bristol!
At the allotment the task was to break up some large and heavy concrete posts from the stream at the bottom of the valley, and then bring them up to the top of the hill to be reused. This was a great work out for the legs powering up and down the hills, and the upper body lifting and shifting the big lumps of concrete.
All that was left was to run all the way back down the hill to the Folk House. The three new members Sarah, Bash and Nikkie all did brilliantly on a tough run.
