7 GoodGymers made their way on a training session in Liverpool.

The last day of August and it felt slightly autumnal. A slight spattering of rain and clouds scurrying across the sky. Enter seven Goodgymers and it was sunshine all round. We went through the woodland paths of Festival gardens - these woodlands are a wonderful respite from the city streets. ON then to the newest park in the city - only recently opened and gives fantastic views of the river which then of course we just had to go down to and run alongside before entering back into the festival gardens. Kudos to Lucien for stretching his legs and getting some more mileage in
For the rest of us suddenly the run took on the shape of a photo shoot The festival Gardens first opening in the 1984 Garden Festival has some interesting props that lent themselves to backdrop to our photos.
Coming out of the gardens is a newly installed Sparrow crossing ( OK I have googled every type of road crossing I confess) and we just had to reenact the famous Beatles Abbey Road crossing picture........ errrrrrrmmmmm...... how successful were we?
And so we ended our run with much laughter and some chaos..... the thing about a goodgym run in Liverpool is that we meet up we do some running we do some chatting we each get out of the session what we want to put in physically and together we create something pretty special.
