Smurf and Surf
6 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Redbridge.
- Saturday, 10th of April 2021
- Led by Linda Sharman
Peter, Sharon and Kevin arrived early and were already hard at work prepping various jobs when Linda Helena and Kathryn arrived.
The last three were handed blue waterproofs giving them a vaguely Smurf like appearance and set to work jet washing the boats. Once they got their aim in and stopped soaking each others glasses it turned out to be a very rewarding job.
Meanwhile Peter had been busy repairing the picnic tables and re-varnishing them with Sharon whilst Kevin painted a container door a lovely shade if blue.
All in all a different and worthwhile task. Thanks to everyone for signing up and giving it your all. Always a pleasure to work with GGR Buddies great to welcome our neighbours from Newham and to welcome back Helena to her first GG task since GG Redbridge launch run!

Well done everyone! Smurf look is very becoming 😉
We did try and put forward the idea that it was the Charlie’s Angels look but no one was buying that. 🤣
