Spring (onion) has sprung! 🌸
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.

The lovely spell of sunshine over the last week or so seems to have encouraged all the cherry blossoms to give us a beautiful show – this has to be one of the best bits of spring, right? As I walked to Mrs M’s today the ground was littered with blossom petals. When I called on the intercom, she said that she was still isolating due to her appointment for the procedure on her foot being rearranged, and so her trolley and list would be waiting for me outside of the door.
When I saw the list I didn’t think I’d have much trouble with it – although Tesco rarely seem to stock Mrs M’s favourite “Delicious” variety of apples, so I thought perhaps these would have to be missed. But when I got to Tesco, there was a whole crate! I fell at two unexpected hurdles; no cantaloupe melon or food bags were to be found in any of the stores I tried (hopefully they'll be in stock next time!)
Upon my return to Mrs M’s flat, I found that she had very kindly parcelled up a sandwich that she'd made for my lunch. Despite my insistence that I don’t need feeding in return for doing her shopping, she was adamant that I take it. Thank you as always Mrs M 😊
