Stop! Zimmer time!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Haringey.
- Wednesday, 5th of June 2019
On a fine Wednesday evening fellow Barnet Goodgymer, Jody, and I met up to declutter Mr D's bedroom.
Mr D will be discharged from hospital soon and we were needed to make space in his bedroom so that a new bed and recliner chair could be placed. We were met by his close friend Peter who let us into the flat, Mr D is an artist and we both spent some time admiring some of his pieces. We needed to move a divan bed into the spare room, but first we had to make spare room in said room! There were a lot of picture frames and art work which we carefully moved into the living room. After a few trips we'd managed to make some space against a wall, which was just the right size for the two divan bases!
We then moved some clothes away from the window in Mr D's bedroom - to create the perfect place for the new recliner chair to go. Whilst moving the Zimmer frames I got the idea for the pun and photo op - result!
Before bidding, a very thankful, Peter a good evening we took some of the unwanted clutter down to the recycling bins.
