16 amazing GoodGymers ran 5k to Hollybush Community garden to complete an array of great tasks for the award winning community garden. Plus a huge celebration for a monumental GoodDeeding feat!!
Completing 250 GoodDeeds is rare air in GoodGym circles but for Hall of Famer Liz this fear alone was not enough!! Raking up her 328th Total GoodDeed and her 250th of 2019 🤯!! A very special accomplishment that may never be repeated!! Plus bringing along a couple of unbelievable home made cakes to round off the evening!!
After an extra long safety briefing to make sure we had every pot hole and wonky paving slab covered we ran 3.5k to Hollybush (nearly missing it!!).
Meeting Marvellous Margaret who gave us the briefing and we set to work!
Putting up a perfectly level string shelf for the Spider plants, digging/clearing out 4 flower beds and replanting 2 with poppy plants, digging out. Re potting some additional Spider plants to add to the collection and some comedy sweeping up with some under sized brooms!!
45 minutes abd we were done! All that was left was a 1.5km and a feat of cake!!
A great Tuesday, thanks so much for coming along!!
See you next week for our lastAbney trip of the year!!
