Taming the Ivy in Westminster
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Westminster.
- Saturday, 27th of April 2019
Goodgym runners Victoria and Lee-Ann helped Ms A to tame the ivy in her hidden back garden, which serves as a haven not just for Ms A, but her sweet little dog, a variety of birds, squirrels and the occasional rabbit or fox. Very lush and fast-growing, the ivy had all but taken over the pathways and Ms A was not able to access all parts of her lovely space. With scissors and secateurs and braving a brisk wind, the runners cut away the overgrowing plants leaving behind a little oasis for all to enjoy.

Nice work, Victoria and Lee-Ann! It's great that Ms A will be able to move a bit more freely around her garden now!
