Team Spirit
3 GoodGymers made their way to help the Redbridge Mutual Aid FoodBank in Redbridge.

Mike and Linda arrived to find that half the resident team were spirited away from Frenford FoodBank to support England at Wembley. So we ‘hit the ground running’ and 'tackled' the packing straight away. One of the girls that had been there since 3:30 was flagging a bit so she was ‘substituted’ by GGR’s Sharon. ‘Play’ was frantic but the ‘result’ was good with all four ‘corners’ of the ‘pitch’ soon covered with food parcels. All 50 parcels prepared before the drivers arrived ‘result’! After ‘half-time’ we started ‘shooting’ new stock on to the shelves, with a particularly good ‘aim’ required to get the nappies on the top resulting in some unexpected ‘headers’. Once we had helped most of the drivers load their cars it felt like a ‘win’ to us so we called it a day and can only hope the others got as much satisfaction out of watching their match.
