Mission

Tend it like Beckham

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.

Lenka and I had a garden mission today, midday, in this heatwave. It was for Mr A whose garden had overgrown and needed help clearing it and tidying up. Mr a had kindly left some biscuits and water for us just in case we got thirsty or peckish. The job mainly consisted of tending to the overgrown borders and cutting back a lethal spiky tree. With skills like Beckham, after an hour and a half it was transformed. Mr A can now safely walk around in his garden and talk to his lovely neighbours over the fence.
