Another great Bank Holiday Monday run out. Tonight we were running to help out our friends at the Greenwich and Bexley Hospice by delivering leaflets around Bexley advertising their awesome colour run at Danson park on the 13th of June. It a great fun event and the guys from Goodgym highly recommend it.
Tonight i thought i'd take the team on a trail run through Danson Park. The conditions for running were brilliant. We headed down into the park but stayed on the woodland trails, stopping at the fitness stations to push out 10 reps of a particular exercise. We then headed up out along the top of the park and through more woodlands before coming out onto the main Danson road to start our leaflet delivery.
We split into teams of 3, covering both sides of the road and got on with the job in hand. This route was a bit special, why, because i added a lovely hill in the middle. As you can imagine everybody was so pleased ;-) After covering around 6K we all arrived back at HQ for a well done chat and and good stretch.
It was great as always to have Sarah and Johnny from Hammersmith and Fulham Goodgym joining us for the Bank Holiday, and also Sarah and Susan back and fully recovered from the London Marathon.
Next week we have our first visit of the year to the Old English Gardens, so looking forward to this. See ya next week.........
