The litterpickasaurus
7 GoodGymers made their way 3.4km to help their local community in Liverpool.
- Monday, 4th of July 2022
- Led by Sophie McClellan
After a quick catch up, where we got to hear all bout the Liverpool to chester cycling from Pauline, 4 Runners and 2 walkers/cyclists meandered through the streets of the Georgian Quarter before arriving at Crown Street Park to meet Sallyann and begin our litter pick.
Upon arrival, it was fantastic to see the place being so well used and on initial inspection we didn't think we'd be able to fill many bags. However, we managed to seek out the litter, and amongst other things, found a hub cap, a catheter bag, a wallet and a dinosaur! (the wallet has been successfully returned to its rightful owner thanks to some detective work by Ema)
Well done to everyone who took part, we left the park in a much better state than we found it!
