The Rainlings pt 2
2 GoodGymers made their way 2.0km to help their local community in Haringey.
- Saturday, 14th of November 2015
2 faithful do gooders took on the might of the Railings and rain at Kori Community Centre playground.
A slight downpour greeted Ali and I as we arrived at the task. This didn't prevent us conversing happily over many a subject while pushing, pulling, scraping and chipping away at the railings. After babbling for what seemed like 10 minutes an hour had surprisingly past. We had reached our halfway point so we took a break and tucked into some fruit I'd brought along to keep us going.
Ali initiated some jumping jacks and I did the hustle for a few seconds before we jumped back into some plyometric arm movements for the last hour. This flew by as, would you believe, we we're actually having fun while doing good. We'll be heading back to Kori for another upper body plyomitric session on Saturday 5th December.
