Sunday afternoon saw 2 cheerful GGers arrive at Ms S’s place in Ealing to lend a hand with some tidying and space creation.

Ms S is the full-time carer to her disabled brother and needs to make space in her front room for a specialised exercise machine for him. With her own health problems, she was unable to do some vital tidying up and this was causing her anxiety and stress.

We got to work and started making our way through boxes of clutter. Most of the stuff we sorted through was piles of paper and letters, which we gathered up and threw into confidential waste bags for collection. By the end of the work we had filled a couple of bags and Ms S was very happy with the weight of them and the weight off her mind.

The last task was to tidy away a computer for collection, and we left Ms S with the number of a recycling service for it.

With a few bits of rubbish thrown away we headed off on our merry way, happy to have helped another person in need of Goodgym’s services!
