There's a first (and a volunteer) for everything
7 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Birmingham.

A bumper day for GoodGym assisting to make parkrun happen across Birmingham, not least because I found Steven's details to add him into reports, knowing that he has been very busy over the weeks helping at Woodgate Valley since it began last year. Today was no different as he set up the course, was a car park marshal, marshalled out on the course, closed down the course and was a photographer as well. That is really making the show happen!
Over in Cannon Hill parkrun, Miriam took on the daunting task of timekeeping, with an incredible 485 runners clicked through the finishing line. I can assure you its a difficult task at our parkrun with around 100 finishers, so that certainly takes some concentration. Out on the course, James was marshalling and cheering on the runners.
At Edgbaston Reservoir, Liam was Run Director, while Ryan was another marshal/cheerleader out on the course. One of the runners out there was Richard, who finished and got straight into Barcode Scanning at the end.
I did my usual setup duties at Perry Hall in time to take part and proudly (and painfully) finish in first place. I can't resist another show off about it (after my whatsapp humblebrag) so I've put my picture of proof in the report.
