Timed to perfection
3 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Sheffield.
- Sunday, 26th of August 2018

It was a wet one, but not put off by a bit of drizzle 3 Goodgym volunteers help to support the National Trust's 10k free run at the Longshaw Estate. The monthly Trust10 is a charity led event orgainsed by volunteers to promote fitness and well being, encouraging people to visit and excise in a natural environment. Mental and physical health can be significantly improved by spending time in green spaces, which make the Trust10 an important event for the local community.
Stopwatch Steve - took on the timing system. Working some spreadsheet magic, he tracked all the 200+ runners times across a 5k and 10k distance. This new system will be used to help the charity in the forthcoming events.
Cool-man Chris took the tail of the pack and made sure all runners got round safety & Tom took marshal point at the cross-road section of the course, keeping runners on the right track and cheering the brave 200 running in the rain.
