To me... To you.... To me. Using that preschool TV knowledge
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Westminster.
- Wednesday, 4th of March 2020
Waking up nice and early we headed from Haringey to Westminster to move some furniture to create more room for Ms S and her carers.
First job was emptying the wardrobes and and draws so everything will be that bit lighter to carry.
All was going well until it was time to move the big wardrobe. Ms S daughter had the idea to use some wheels (usually reserved for shopping) to help us push it along. It worked somewhat as it made it easier to get the wardrobe off the carpet.
To get it into the room we wanted was the start of us using all our skills from preschool to learning to drive (I don't think any of us know how to drive).
There were talks of three point turns, now to me now to you, right left, etc.
There was even some unscrewing of a coat hook to give us that extra inch or so.
In the end a fourth member (Ms S son) came along added a fourth brain and the task was done.
All that was left to do was tidy up Ms S bedroom so she can come home and relax in her now spacious room.

Fantastic stuff guys, well done!
The referrer got in touch and wanted to pass this on, "Thank you so much Rebecca and Latoya! The staff really appreciate this and I am sure Ms S does too! Cannot wait to pass on the good news!".
Awesome!
