He/Him
Nick, Cat and I met at Melvin Hall and straightaway started helping by stacking chairs into a safe area out of the way of the stalls.
We then made our way through a whole bunch of other odd jobs like filling a poster stand base full of water to make sure it didn’t fly away, putting posters up, laying tote bags out and helping stall operators unpack their cars.
Best and trickiest job was getting tea and coffee orders, and then making them to a high standard for the volunteers! Nick was the main tea and coffee maker (Nick felt the pressure of making a good brew) and Cat took the long list of orders! Cat quickly realised why she wasn’t a barista full time after panicking about how many black coffees/coffees with milk she’d promised ; )
Quick, interesting and varied task this morning!
