Turf going in Foxwood Park
8 GoodGymers made their way to help the Foxwood Residents Association and Foxwood Residents Association in York.

Fortunately, the skies had cleared and after all had arrived by various scenic routes and Mitch answering a late call for volunteers we quickly started to work under the guidance of Neil from the local Residents' association. Neil (aka "Banksy" in his own words) had spray painted the area to be free from turf. Mindful of maintaining social distancing and under the gaze of Michal's springer puppy we made steady progress and were soon nearly finished. Only at this time did Michal's puppy, in a bid to claim the glory, decide to prove he could dig. However, by then we had the appropriate area free from turf and ready for planting wildflower Yellow rattle seeds .
Hopefully we can visit later in the spring and see the fruits of our labour
