Un frog-ettable
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Haringey.
- Friday, 25th of October 2019
Today myself and Latoya visited Mr P and his wife in his beautiful tranquil garden to help him with some garden tasks. He’d done a great job with the upkeep of the garden, he just needed help with the tasks that required bending and getting up ladders.
We picked all the ripe figs, grapes and tomatoes that we could find, then we did some weeding in the flower beds with Mr P providing the entertainment in the form of jokes and tales!
The last task was to weed a large section alongside the path, when I was startled to uncover a frog happily sitting there. He looked less happy when I took his leafy cover away to the composting, sorry frog! Or maybe he’s a toad? What’s the difference? That’s the pun out the window then!
