Tonight was a blustery night, but that didnt stop the guys at Goodgym Woking heading out on their weekly task! This week we were back at Derrys Allotments. There is much work to do at the allotment and everyone is more than happy to give a helping hand. After a quick run down of the task we headed off through Woking Town center on the 2km route. On the way we stopped off for a cheeky hill session involving hill sprints, Squats and lunges, before heading off into the darkness. Once at the Allotments we were met Tony who showed us to the plot and had got all the gloves and tools ready for us! Soon the conversations started flowing and we learnt about barbaras hike in South Africa which ended up at a 200m waterfall and wild swim! We also managed to get some free Parsnips and Celery from the plot we were clearing. Once the task was completed we locked up and headed back the scenic route with Holly leading and Veronika as back marker. 5km was run tonight with some digging and raking thrown in for good measure. Well done Woking!
