What a beautiful morning to be heading towards the Harvester for a Fatboy’s Breakfast, as it affectionately known in our house.... But no, wait! My usual destination in this direction is firmly in Lockdown & CLOSED! Many, many times on the way to my fry up heaven on the hill, I have driven past an Aldi Supermarket. This is a place of mystery & intrigue that I have never ventured into before? Having collected an exceptionally ordered shopping list from Mr. C, with a full description & price recorded in the margin, I look for the queue to enter - there is none! I am politely asked if I would like a small or large trolley, my selection is then sprayed down & wiped before being presented to me with a sweeping gesture of the arm guiding me into a pristine fruit & veg aisle. My list takes me in an orderly direction around the subsequent spotless freezer, fridge & alcohol aisles. Unlike Asda Walmart, which couldn’t avoid a mention… nobody ever invaded my two metre social distancing box, all shoppers were single & went in the correct direction, no small children were sighted & apart from the absence of carrot & coriander soup, the whole experience was 100% tickety boo 😊

Great report, and well done Teresa! Now you've broken your Aldi duck, you may even venture there for your own shopping, who knows!
