We can't cur-tain our excitement
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.
- Monday, 16th of December 2019
For Lucia's 50th good deed, we met to hang a net curtain for Ms S. In a lovely GoodGym circle of life situation, Lucia did her first mission with me many moons ago, so it was great to be there for her 50th (even if she didn't tell me until afterwards!)
It will have been one of the speedier of Lucia's 50 deeds - we were in and out in 10 minutes. We moved the fridge, threaded the curtain on the rod, Lucia climbed the ladder to install it, then we put the fridge back and the job was done.
Ms S was very pleased; given the cold weather at the moment she was hopeful the curtain would help keep her flat warm and toasty.
