2 runners ran to help an isolated older person in Swindon
Lily and Charles flocked to the home of Mr G to help unbox lots of his clothes after a recent house move.
A former Wiltshire FA football referee and Crystal Palace ("Eagles") supporter, he had recently moved in to a new home and there were plenty of removal boxes with his clothes in that needed putting away into his wardrobe.
At first we were winging it, but we were soon flying high, plummaging through box by box. As we held up each item Mr G hovered before deciding whether he wanted to keep it or he no longer wanted it and it could go to charity. In no time at all the boxes had been gone through and we had made his bedroom an accessible space for him to live in and get around. The day was turning out to be quite a hoot. With a bit of time left, we also tidied up the kitchen and gave him access to his back door.
Soon it was time to fly the nest and after a bit of tidying up we soared back home
