Wheely choc-full
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Ealing.

Today's mission looked like a simple one - to collect a food parcel from the foodbank at the Oak Tree Anglican Fellowship in Acton, then deliver it to Ms D who cannot leave the house herself. The foodbank and Ms D's home were efficiently lined up along my cycle route into work.
Arriving at the foodbank I was greeted by the very friendly volunteers and given priority at the door. However, I hadn't realised I would need to choose the items for the parcel and didn't have much info on Ms D's preferences (apart from a cheeky request for Valentine's Day chocolates!) I tried calling her to ask but no reply. Fortunately another amazing foodbank volunteer walked around with me and advised me on the most popular items. Chocolate biscuits were hopefully near enough.
A bumper haul, but I'd seriously overestimated how much I could fit into my backpack, and Ms D's goodies filled another two bulging carrier bags on top of that! No chance of cycling safely, so I dangled the bags on the handlebars and walked the bike down to Ms D's, which was thankfully not too far away.
The delightful Ms D was really pleased to see me, albeit slightly later than expected. We had a good chat and talked through a few of the items I'd chosen. There were a few "misses" in there but fortunately there was plenty that met with her approval, with a tin of chickpeas a particular winner. And the choc biscuits of course...
