Who was Wallace Pring, I wonder?
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Bromley.

Chatterton Village is one of those old-time villages that have got swept up into south London. Fortunately it still retains its own charm, and a lovely little high street with lots of independent traders including 2 of my favourite places to eat! The post office is inside the chemist, which, as you can tell from the painting on the brickwork, has been around quite some time. No idea who Wallace Pring was, but the family name is still over the front door and the chemist shop is still going strong. They also employ some very friendly helpful staff behind the post office counter too. So Miss G's parcels were dispatched with no problem at all, and I had a nice breeze round old-time Chatterton before heading back to Miss G's with the parcel tracking numbers and her change.

Nice one Ian, it's great where some of these missions take you to. I was intrigued and managed to find out this info about the building and the sign: https://runner500.wordpress.com/2015/01/15/bromley-ghost-signs-wallace-prings-for-chemist-things/
Wow, thank you Dave - local history!
