# **Four runners ran 6km to help the Y Theatre**
Tonight we ran to help the wonderful community run Y in Leicester They are hoping to boost donations to their organisation with a fundraising drive over the next couple of weeks. Read more about that [here](https://www.leicesterymca.co.uk/youth-community/support-us/the-big-give/).
Mel and Dave set off on a walk slightly earlier with Jimmy and Huw taking a slightly longer running route to meet on Queens Road to start our task. We worked our socks off to get leaflets into as many residences as possible in the Clarendon Park area, covering alot of ground in the time we had!
Finishing bang on 7pm, Dave and Mel headed straight back to base while Jimmy and Huw went via the Y to drop off the undelivered leaflets, forgetting in the process to take the photo in front of the venue that Mel had asked us to take. We had one job!
Belated happy returns to Dave who celebrated his birthday over the weekend, we adjourned the post run celebrations until next week when hopefully those who were unable to attend tonight will be back in the fold!
Well done gang!
