Tonight Lawrence and I were out braving the cold, helping at the secret garden.
Our task this week was to prune an un-loved apple tree (apparently its the right time of year?!), and clip any branches that crossed over. Hopefully we'll get first 'pick' later in the year of any fruit!

Today I was back with Mrs C, carrying on to remove the brambles from the back garden. Progress is looking great, as the before and after pics are showing. Hopefully just the one more visit to finish!

This evening 3 GoodGymers were out helping clean the Exeter streets. With the Christmas market as popular as ever the litter was on the increase. 2 full bags and a nice mulled-cider to warm up after!

Today I was back with Ms C, dealing with the jungle of brambles that has taken over her garden. 90 mins and a pair of secateurs can still get lots done! Not quite finished but the difference in space is striking! One more visit should do the job 💪

Tonight 4 GoodGymers were back at the secret garden. We were tasked with cleaning the community areas, spreading compost and doing a little litter pick.
The evening was bitterly cold but always nice to be out doing good, the community garden clearer for our efforts!

Today I was out helping Mrs C - brambles have totally taken over the back garden and she can no longer access it or the back gate.
Armed with some cutters and thick gloves I managed to reclaim the gate and a lot of the garden, but we’ll need to come back again soon and finish it off!
