Lucy and Jo met with local Newtown community leader, Debbie, to help clear a green space ready for the community to spruce up and make better use of. We gathered fallen branches to make log pile habits and chopped Xmas trees to mulch down. It might have been the affect of the full moon, but we had a quick 'Fred Astaire' singing in the rain moment!!

This week I was back helping Mrs B with more flat-pack furniture - building a new bedside table for her medical equipment and also a new little storage cabinet for the bathroom.
We helped Mrs B back in October, it was lovely to see her again and catch up on the gossip - a tea and a natter goes a long way! Plus the units I built last time were still standing so a great morning overall!

Happy New Year! We started our first task of the year in fine fashion, 8 GoodGymers back at the secret garden helping clear the area and make the surrounding parts presentable. Mainly decorating trees, signs and posts around the street. A huge welcome to first timer Oli, great having you on the task tonight!

Tonight, our last task before the Christmas break, was a damp one! We were unable to work in the secret garden, so we made sure the task owner was well, had a little social catchup with her and then had a little social ourselves. We'll be back in the new year to do good!

Tonight, 5 GoodGymers were back leafleting for Sylvania Hall, raising awareness if its pending demolition and subsequent efforts to save it.
It was another cold evening, but a little run and good company always warms us up!
