Crazy Paving

Tonight, 6 GoodGymers were helping MMAA at their allotment, moving heavy beams, paving and stones ready for building work. It was a heavy workout, lifting well over a couple of tonnes of material - but a warm evening and good social chat made the time fly!

We’re going on a bear hunt!

Today Lucy and Craig were back at the Secret Garden, this time helping to re-paint the paw prints we created a couple of years ago. We started with a bit of arts and crafts - creating new paw templates. We then started to cover the old prints. We'll be back soon to finish it off!

Suns out Guns out

Tonight the 6 of us were back at Belle Isle Park, carrying on the thistle and bramble removal from last week. Another lovely evening in the sun, a great task to socialise, see the wonderful nature in the park and get a good little workout!

Pivot!

Tonight I was out helping Mrs L, along with a local rep from her care network, clearing furniture from her bedsit. We removed a sofa and an armchair (after lots of pivoting!) ready for the local council to pick up in the morning. Mrs L now has a lot more space in her home.

Every Little Helps!

Today GoodGym Exeter were supporting a local member of the public, taking out the rubbish and recycling for them as they were unable to. A small 5 minute task, but had the chance to say hello and make a big difference to them.
