Eight GoodGymers started off the New Year with a return visit to Coffee Tots to take the decorations back down. Despite the rain it was very enjoyable to get back out in the fresh air with the GoodGym gang. We took the scenic route around town to get a little bit of a run in before reaching the Wave.

It was a pleasant task to ease us back in gently, whilst catching up with each other after the Christmas break. Once the decs were down we then rearranged some table and chairs ready for a baby/toddler session in the morning. Once the jobs were done we were then rewarded with another round of Nigel's nibbles, including a cheese board and goodies. So much for working off those mince pies!

Really is great to be back and look forward to all the good we will getting up to in 2024.

11 Goodgymers walked and ran to Coffee Tots in The Wave swimming pool for some festive fun on a damp Tuesday in December.

After a dynamic warm up in the car park, which included some joyful skipping, walking lunges and fast feet, we made our way to The Wave, looping back every so often to get our steps in.

When we arrived, Graeme had already started hanging decorations from the ceiling and Jackie was busy untangling some very tangled baubles and garlands. The rest of the group got to work assembling paper decorations, hanging garlands and putting up decorations made by the children.

Nigel had very kindly prepared us some festive nibbles to keep us going during the task, including a mincemeat tree and reindeer, as well some other yummy nibbly treats.

With the Coffee Tots café looking very festive, and with festively full tummies, we made our way slowly back to the CBGC for a stretch and cool down.

Thanks for having us Nigel and Coffee Tots, we are all feeling nicely festive now.
