Another cold one this morning at Fulbourn Hospital parkrun, but people weren't deterred and there were an amazing 173 finishers 🙌

It was an early one for Harriet, who was run director for the first time and out course checking at 7:30! She did a brilliant job delivering a clear briefing and making sure all was running smoothly. Well done 🎉

I was timing and couldn't feel my fingers by the end, which didn't help for token sorting afterwards.

As always, we finished the morning by heading to the cafe to warm up.

We had a great start to the weekend supporting Fulbourn Hospital parkrun.

Harriet was out early setting up the course, a tough task this morning covering up all the rabbit holes and clearing leaves, and I was number checking. Jobs well done as the parkrun was incident free and all numbers were aligned 🙌 We celebrated with a hot drink in the cafe to warm up.

Big shout out to GoodGymer Harriet who was a fantastic volunteer coordinator at Fulbourn Hospital parkrun this morning. What a morning for it! I joined to marshal, directing and cheering 150 brilliant runners and walkers who battled the heat.

We will be back again soon!

Two goodGymers helped out at Fulbourn Hospital Park Run today. We had a lovely morning for it, with the rain staying away and a bit of blue sky too. Well done to Caroline for doing such a great marshalling and cheering runners along. I was the volunteer coordinator for this week, so really appreciated Caroline's support. 153 brilliant runners and walkers made their valiant way around the 4-lap course.
