Another lovely Sunday for a Junior ParkRun, with 113 youngsters running the Eaton Park course. Sunshine and a light breeze made for ideal conditions.

We had beautiful weather for today's run, with 115 youngsters in attendance. I took on a new role today, leading the warm up, which began with us all picking up our invisible hula hoops for hip circles. Lots of determined faces and plenty of smiling ones too, as the kids made their way around the course.

Was today's cone station after a nice stroll to do the course check.

121 young finishers crossed the line today and a few PBs were gained.

Today myself and my trusty cone were marshal point 1!

We saw 110 cheerful children start, along with some enthusiastic adults.

Shortly after the first finishers were racing past having completed their first lap and smiling to the finish 😀

Then a consistent flow of children pleased they only had half a lap to go Hehe.

Another excellent junior parkrun with lots of children out enjoying themselves on the course. One youngster received his marathon wristband - a great achievement.

Double parkrun weekend, today helping at Eaton junior parkrun where 113 4-14yr old where seen crossing the finish line with happy content faces 😀

I was marshalling today at an early point so was able to leave and get to the finish line to cheer the children over the line.
