Our tireless GoodGym members Pauline and Tim arrived at Stanley Park to help marshal the regular Sunday morning junior parkrun - but it was cancelled at the last minute due to ice on the course. A number of children and their grown ups were still arriving, so our members stayed on to ensure everyone was informed of the cancellation and the reason for it. Let's hope there's better luck this afternoon at the neighbouring Anfield stadium for the mighty Liverpool FC in their match against Manchester United!

Stanley Park junior parkrun, a free, 2km run in Liverpool for young people aged from 4-14, is possibly the only parkrun in the country where not one but two Premier League football stadia (grammar!) are visible en route. Nine wonderful GoodGym members helped out today, in roles such as Timekeeper, Photographer, and Marshal. Plenty of encouragement and enthusiasm was on display as we supported 39 young people (and a few of their grown ups too!) to make their way round the two lap course. We were all done and dusted in plenty of time before the crowds started arriving in the area for this afternoon's F.A. Cup tie at Anfield between Liverpool and Everton. A special well done to Ben who completed his first GoodGym good deed today!
