Our oldest and most popular task!
Vauxhall Foodbank provide short term food support to families and individuals in crisis. We help them out by sorting food collected from local supermarkets into categories and making sure it is correctly weighed. This task is the dream for all lovers of neatness and order. Feel the calm wash over you as all the tins get sorted and put away. The work we do here would take the voluntary staff hours to do by themselves. Today, the delivery van arrived after the session time however the team rolled up their sleeves and got stuck in, unpacking, sorting, and repacking a HUGE food donation delivery, in record time. .

This mission is a hands-on experience where we receive and prepare provisions to share with those in need. Today, as we kick off the Easter Holiday Weekend, it was heartwarming to see so many people come through. Their gratitude for the support they received was truly uplifting, reminding us of the impact we can have in making a difference during this special time.
