Fantastic start to Friday... 6 GoodGymers met on a slightly damp and cold morning and cleared leaves from the pavement and kerbside outside Windmill Hill City Farm. It was amazing how much was cleared in just 40 minutes, making access to farm safer. Great job all!
Helen - thanks for sharing some of your pics, love the golden leaves!

A little leaf clearing and weeding next to the sheepโs paddock. The sheep were watching on to make sure we did a good job and decided that Jades bag looks rather tasty and tried to eat the straps. Guilty party spotted and bag moved to a safer place.

A lovely peculiar warm morning greeted the GG folk. Too many layers but we marched on to the neat and tidy shed. With rakes, leaf collectors and at least 3 barrows of laughs we set out to re-find the path under the leaves near the sauna and sheep paddock. Creating a wider path to fit at least one more cow we mooed our way to deposit the leaves in the leaf heap, then a final photo with a goat-y backdrop and on our dairy ways to foliage up the weekend ๐

A dry morning ๐ met the GG folk. With racks and barrows in arms and being cheered on by the feeding sheep we cleared a large section of path. Depositing the leaves to create a mulchy pile. A final photo with a goaty backdrop and we departed without slipping on any leaves. ๐

The rain kept off as we raked up a large leafy section near the compost bins. We were greeted by a lovely robin and moos of the 2 lovely cows. Leafing no leaf unturned we depoaited them in the compost and a final photo before trotting off.

A lovely day greeted us at the farm. Today we tackled a large area bordering the walled garden. With brooms and shovels we cleared the area and wheel barrowed up the debris to take to the compost. It was a sweeping success even with a screw loose. Then off for a coffee to start our days๐
