Bournemouth Report written by Bournemouth runner
On a glorious evening in Bournemouth we gathered in Meyrick Park amongst the outdoor enthusiasts. And for once no one flinched at seeing us get together. There were people playing rugby, mum’s doing an exercise class, some practicing boxing others tai chi and us collecting rubbish and making the world a better place.
We had a chat and went through names and welcomed fresh faces in Lottie and Adam. Lottie in her first ever GoodgGym experience and Adam who had had a taste before and hasn’t been put off!
With gloves, pickers and bin bags handed out we bursted our like a star in different directions and gathered as much rubbish as we could.
After an hour of picking and chatting we got together again and made a date for next week Thursday....Horseshoe Common our next challenge!
Great to see you all. Hope you can make it again next week!!

Adam Hodges earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.
Adam completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Adam was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.

Bournemouth Report written by Sean Davies
On the last ever day of summer / liberty we assembled outside Abbeyfield in Westbourne to do some epic flyering for the charity promoting a safe haven from isolation and loneliness for the elderly - pertinent!!
We split into two groups of four taking on right hand side / left hand side of road duties and loaded up with 1,000 flyers.
Chris, Claire & Adam from goodgym Nantwich set up an elaborate relay system to ensure that Hannah and bump could focus on posting flyers rather than running unnecessarily. Sweet!
Claire was spontaneously approached by a local couple who were super keen to hear about Abbeyfield - you can't buy sales skills like that, Forbes!
Grace, Roshana, Ashok and I talked about people we know "moving to Bournemouth" - it's the place to be!
After an hour of solid letterbox action in fading light, we agreed to meet up next week and do it all again to finish off. Not least to keep doing stuff that makes us feel good. We still have that liberty!
