Santa's helpers get cleaning ready for Santa's arrival.
Last night we headed to the RSPCA for a spot of cleaning ready for the Christmas fayre which is happening this Saturday. We headed to the stables to help clean out two stables. This will be decorated ready for Father Christmas. We were joined by three special guests 2 donkeys and a shetland pony called Alan.
After a lot of scrubbing and hose down the two stables were much for suitable for Father Christmas. If anyone is interested in seeing our handy work or would just like a nose around the stalls and a visit to Santa's grotto then the Fayre takes place on Saturday 1st December 11-4pm.
A big well done to everyone we have already received an email from the RSPCA to thank us for all your hard work!!
Next week We are heading to Woking foodbank to help ready for Christmas. Please don't forget to sign up!

Its was a 241 evening for Woking GoodGym
Last night we headed back to Derrys Field Allotments to dig over a site that had become unmanagable for an elderly lady to cope with.
But before we got there we decided to deliver some leaflets for Sam Beare Hospice charity Santa Run on 2nd Dec.
After a quick meet and greet at the Leisure Centre, we headed off through Woking Park and chose the hilliest route to the Allotments. Once their we were shown the Plot to be cleared and were given tools and gloves to complete the task. 25 mins later and a plot looking like an allotment plot again and not just a grass patch we then headed back delivering more leaflets along the way!
A big well done to everyone as it was certainly COLD last night. I hope you have all warmed up.
Good luck
Good luck to Rachel with will be running Richmond park half marathon this weekend.

Woking GG members take on Woking Food bank
Great to see so many members turn up to help us out at Woking Food Bank. Tonight we welcomed Ed to his first group run session. We hope that you'll be back for more and the boot camp didn't put you off too much!!
We started from our normal starting point at Woking Leisure Center and took a gentle jog to the high street in Woking. This is where the Lighthouse is based, which holds the food bank. As it is Harvest Festival time and all the local schools around Woking take their donations here so we had the job of sorting the donations from the bags into crates ready for them to stock the shelves. We also helped to keep the floors clean by giving them a hoover and a mop. Everyone worked well together and we managed to the get the job done just on time. Once we were done we headed to Woking Park for a core bootcamp session. Not much running was done tonight, but don't you worry there will be no bootcamps for a few weeks and your running legs will be worked instead. With everyone sweaty and red in the face, it sure looked like everyone had worked hard. A massive well done to everyone tonight - ** you were amazing!!!!**
Next week
We will be heading to Beaufort Primary School - please make sure you sign up It will be pretty helpful that you bring a head torch as we will be running down the canal.
Social Drinks
To help celebrate two special occasions - GG Woking's** 1st Birthday** and of course, Halloween. We will be having a little social, if you are interested then sign up here

Woking GG take on Kingfield School in Woking to help in their Forest School area.
This week we welcomed Matthew on his first group run. We hope you enjoyed yourself and we look forward to seeing you on more group runs with us.
This week we had a short run to Kingfield Primary School, we met Amy who is in charge of the Forest School. We had the task of moving the log circle to make it bigger and we also moved the troughs and filled them with some top soil. The flower bed had some soil added to them and some pots got some plants added to them. So everyone was certainly kept busy. A great effort by all the team and a big Thank you to Kingfield for having us help out!
After our gardening efforts we headed to Woking Park for a bootcamp session with some extra hill sprints and everyones favourite exercise burpees!!
We found out that Sally is heading to Toyko next March to take part in the Marathon there. - What a great experience that will be. Good Luck with the training.
