25 energetic GoodGymers ran up to 6.5k to help the Oasis Community Garden.
A great turn out in Westminster this week!! Great to have you all along for such a fun session!
Starting off with an adventurous run to the Task with seemingly many variations of routes taken and much discussion on how everyone got there.
With so many helping hands we made short work of the last of our Gardening tasks at the Oasis Garden for the summer! Watering and dead heading with a bit of sweeping thrown in for good measure!
With a bit of time left we packed away the watering cans and headed off to Bedford Square for some all action circuits!! Smashing out tag team return running laps, core conditioning and some big time leg strength exercises!
A short run back a stretch out and we were away!!
Hope to see you all next week!!
Smooth Running

Asa has done their first good deed with GoodGym.
Asa is a now a fully fledged GoodGym runner. They've just run to do good for the first time. They are out there making amazing things happen and getting fit at the same time.

Twelve tremendous GoodGymmers met at the New Balance store on Oxford Street to flyer for Open Age this week. Open Age do brilliant exercise classes for free or very cheap to get local residents moving and they need our help spreading the word.
After a quick introduction (and two doc checks - nice one guys) we set off dodging pedestrians on our way to St James Park with Frances and Emily backmarking. We decided to aim for the big blocks of flats just past the park: it was busy and hot but we made it in quick time. We dispensed the flyers - and had a quick team photo - and set off posting flyers. As most blocks have closed off doors on the ground floor, we needed to keep our eyes peeled for where we could get to some letterboxes. Naturally, the team found some and we set about posting the flyers. A few residents stopped to ask us what it was all about and seemed happy to hear about it (and us!).
Flyers posted, we set off back to base. It was a hot night but the team kept up a brilliant pace. We stopped at the entrance to Green Park to do some drills before a progressive run up the hill towards piccadilly. Everyone set a brilliant pace up the hill and we needed a few seconds at the top to catch our breath!
From there it was a simple run back to base. Well done everyone and hope to see you all again sometime.
